Shadow PC is available in four options: **Essential, Standard, Advanced and Expert.** Shadow PC Essential is a PC at the exceptional and unrivaled price of €9.99/month, ideal for office use, web browsing, and lightweight apps that don't require a graphics card. The Standard, Advanced and Expert options all have graphics cards, so they can step up to more demanding uses or more specific professional uses. With 12 GB of RAM and a Nvidia 1080 card, the Standard offer is ideal for most professional requirements and 3D design software. For more advanced uses which require a more powerful graphics card, such as creating photos, videos or animations and architectural visualization, the Advanced set-up offers you the latest generation of CPU (AMD Epyc), 28 GB of RAM, and a RTX A4500 card with 20 GB of vRAM. For uses and software that require major resources (digital cloning, Unreal Engine software and its Nanite and Lumen components) or for creating photos, videos, CGI, architectural visualization with complex lighting, incredible high quality/realistic photos, etc., the Expert option is recommended for its 41 GB of RAM, RTX 6000 graphics card, and 24 GB of vRAM.

Q: Can you share a Shadow PC Account?

- At the moment, a Shadow PC account can be shared only by sharing credentials (with an email security check when used from another device) - You can share an account over time (no simultaneous access) by sharing the credentials (which is ok in a close and trusted group) - Also, for any 1st connection on a new device, an authorization request will be sent to the email associated to the account. - In all cases, there is no concurrent access to a machine.

High Definition allows you to enjoy your Shadow PC with a high-quality visual experience, offering resolutions ranging from 1280×720 pixels (720p) to 1920×1080 pixels (1080p) for Full HD. This ensures sharp, clear images for a broad spectrum of everyday applications.

Drag & Drop

Switching PCs is never easy and often comes down to the same dilemma: Lose your data or spend hours copying them with a USB drive. On Shadow PC, if all your cloud services and USB drives work perfectly, importing data has never been easier. Select them on your local machine, drag them into the Shadow app window, and that’s it! Your Shadow PC takes care of the copy, securely. File import works just as well on Mac as on Windows, and allows, for example, to recover videos in the editing process and export them in a few moments thanks to the power of the dedicated graphics card.

Gamepad as mouse

With our ‘Gamepad as a Mouse’ feature, your controller turns into an ultra-precise mouse. Browse the web, install and start your favorite games, all with the joysticks and buttons of your favorite controller. It’s the efficiency of a PC setup, but in the comfort of your couch. With Shadow PC, your controller becomes the Swiss Army knife of navigation.

Companion mode

The Companion Mode for Shadow PC reinvents interaction with your cloud PC, enabling advanced remote control from a smartphone or tablet running iOS or Android. This feature simplifies access and management of your remote workspace. For example, you can connect your computer to a television to present a project and use a digital keyboard and mouse on your smartphone/tablet to remotely control your computer.

H265

When you play on Shadow PC, the quality of your experience largely depends on your internet connection. For ADSL, 4/5G, slow or saturated connections, “Low Connection” mode comes into play. By activating H265 encoding, you maintain excellent image quality while using less bandwidth even below 15 Mb/s. In case of limited connection, Shadow PC guarantees you a smooth and detailed gaming experience, everywhere, all the time.

Double Screen

Your Shadow PC adapts to your environment, whether you’re using one screen or two. You just need to enable the “Double screen” mode — it only takes two clicks. Shadow PC will automatically detect the resolutions of your monitors, and your Shadow PC will then switch to displaying on both of your screens.

External Screen

Don’t have a second monitor directly connected to your device? Just grab your old laptop, Mac, or even an iPad to turn them into a virtual second screen. Once Shadow PC is started on your main machine, launch the Shadow app on your other device and log in. It will transform into the second screen of your Shadow PC. Wirelessly, and with the comfort and fluidity of a traditional monitor.

All types of equipments

Shadow PC is compatible with most peripheral devices available on the market. It couldn’t be easier — simply connect them to your local terminal to use them on Shadow PC. Whether it’s your external hard drive for importing and syncing your files, your local printer, your scanner, or your favorite microphone… Simply plug them into your local machine and they’ll immediately be recognized and available for use on your Shadow PC: Total freedom with no compromises. You can also configure a VPN for the resources of your choosing, such as an NAS where your key data and backups are stored. Plus, you’ll be able to access a network printer by simply using a third-party software.

VR

Shadow PC skyrockets the capacities of your Meta Quest headset: simply start up your Meta Quest, install the Shadow PC app, and sign in; no need for extra hardware or cables. You’ll be all set to discover a seamless and powerful VR experience, directly via the cloud. That’s not all; you can also access a virtual desktop environment in full VR. Imagine being able to work on a spreadsheet or watch a film that looks like it’s on a 100″ screen, all within your very own private virtual space. 4K

Whether you’re into large or small, basic or esports monitors, there are as many screens as there are gamers. With Shadow PC, unlike other Cloud Gaming services, you’re not locked into a format, resolution, or refresh rate. Your Shadow PC is customizable up to 4K and automatically adapts to your screen’s resolution and format for pixel-perfect rendering, from 30 to 144 Hz. It also recognizes Mac Retina displays and the more exotic resolutions of smartphones, tablets, and connected screens. Whether you’re a fan of low-res retro gaming or the most advanced games, Shadow PC will always offer the rendering that meets your needs.

4:4:4 colorimetry

By default, your Shadow PC’s image is sent in the most optimal way possible. Both faithful to that of a local PC, low in bandwidth consumption, and easy to read on as many devices as possible. But some uses, like graphic arts, require color and pixel rendering precision beyond standards. For our most demanding users, Shadow PC can be set in high color fidelity, also called 4:4:4 in technical jargon. The necessary bitrate then becomes higher, as the amount of information that makes up the image is increased. Also, 4:4:4 mode will require a bit more power from your local machine for your Shadow PC streaming to be smooth and as pleasant to use as by default.

Ray Tracing

Ray Tracing offers total immersion for the most demanding gamers. By activating RTX on your Shadow PC Power, you dive into worlds with exceptional graphics. Images become photorealistic, with breathtaking light effects. Already compatible with more than 200 games and applications, RTX through Shadow PC enhances your gaming pleasure without worrying about performance. DLSS

Next-generation technology, DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) leverages the unique capabilities of NVIDIA’s latest graphics cards. Available on Shadow PC Power, DLSS allows, in compatible games, to improve visual rendering and accelerate game performance thanks to artificial intelligence. For example, it is used to simulate very high-resolution rendering in a game running at a lower definition, with visual quality close to “true 4K.” This may be very useful, especially when you want to push the details to the maximum without compromising on image sharpness.

How do I access my Shadow PC?

For each device of your choosing, you can download the Shadow PC software client for free; in particular, this will allow you to test the browsing quality and adjust your video quality settings to the highest resolution, such as 4k. When you need to quickly access your environment and files via a new device or a workstation that's limited in terms of software installation, you can now directly access your Shadow PC via a browser. No installation required, it's quick and easy: Just head to the pc.shadow.tech web page! This access mode comes particularly in handy when you're giving a client a demo or delivering training via a demanding software directly on your clients or prospects' device: No need to lug around your own hardware, with your software and data, as Shadow PC gives you easy and instant access to it, at any tie and anywhere.
